The FOREGS Geochemical Mapping Field Manual (Geological Survey of Finland, Guide 47, 1998) sets out standardised procedures for collecting environmental geochemical baseline data across Europe. It was produced by a task force of geochemists from about 25 European geological surveys under the Forum of European Geological Surveys (FOREGS).
